Forbes and Wall Street Journal recognize the importance of women in business as both resources have added a focus on women. The Wall Street Journal Online launches Journal Women targeted to professional and executive women.
In the Journal Women section, you'll find The Juggle, a blog discussing juggling work and family. Front Lines contains the latest news about women who make headlines. You can also check out the 50 women to watch, which lists the women who have corner offices in the largest companies. The section also includes videos, advice on health and wellness, and look at style and dress.
Forbes plans to add a new social network platform in several months called the Executive Women's Network. The social network site targets high-ranking female executives giving them a place to share information and knowledge with each other. This is in addition to its quarterly magazine of ForbesLife Executive Woman, which launched last October. The magazine also holds conferences on the topic.
We're happy to see the media take an interest in women executives, a long overdue market.
