Small Business Loans Inching up

With improving business conditions and borrowers able to take on debt, banks may be approving more loans to small businesses.
One indicator of the increase in small business loans is the data from Thomson Reuters/PayNet lending index, which shows that small firm lending reached a four-year high in November. The lending index also reports that small business loans went up by 18%, the highest in three years.
