A recent article by Inc. magazine identified staffing companies as one of the best industries for starting a business, especially in the case of temporary staffing firms which deal with part-time and flexible scheduling positions.
Recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that employment services is one of the fastest growing sectors in the nation - it is expected to grow 19 percent between 2006 and 2016, compared to the 11 percent projected for general growth across all sectors.
In that period, the sector is expected to add 692,000 new jobs.
"Temporary help agencies, the largest sector within employment services, should continue to generate the most new jobs in this industry," said the Bureau of Labor Statistics. "This growth will be spurred by businesses in need of workers to manage seasonal and other temporary increases in their workloads, demand for specialized workers, and those businesses seeking to expand without incurring the initial costs associated with permanent employees."
In addition to staffing companies, other industries expected to have no problems with growth and business financing include healthcare technology, software as a service, yoga products and services, and green construction.
